My name is Courtney, I am the Managing Director of Bookkeeping Babes. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how we managed to get to this point today. I have always wanted to work within the finance field since being at school. I began working within accounts when I was 18 and studying my AAT's. I ended up becoming a mother when I was 21, it became extremely difficult for me to get back to employment and to finish my studies as my daughter has special needs. In 2024, I felt I was then in a position where I could complete my studies within the accounting field, but I still didn't have to flexibility to work for a company. I decided to start taking on a few clients for bookkeeping services and build up my client base and work from home. It was the best decision I ever made, as I was able to achieve my career goals and still be a present mother.
